In Term Two we will be focusing on 'Energy is Everywhere'
Come and join in all the fun of our BRICKS 4 KIDZ Lunchtime LEGO® club! There are limited spaces, so book EARLY to avoid disappointment.
We will explore the energy released from different forces of nature, as well as the effects it has. Students will begin to visualise how these natural phenomenons take place and where they get their energy from.
This unit also explores many sources of energy, from wind and solar power to biofuel and fossil fuel. Students will define terms like renewable, landfill, greenhouse effect and generator and build moving models of just some of the awesome ways we power the world.
The program is only open to Our Lady of Lourdes students only. The workshops will be held in the library each Wednesday lunchtime from 1.40 pm - 2.25 pm. The program will be an Eight-week program commencing on Tuesday 23rd April - 11th June (inclusive).
